The Labyrinth
The labyrinth is an ancient symbol, known across every continent. Every culture around the world has relied on this symbol for self-discovery and guidance through life’s most profound journeys. It represents our journey through life, the ordeal(s) we encounter, and the initiation(s) we experience as we travel and grow. The labyrinth is an incredibly beautiful metaphor for the birth journey, embodying birth and rebirth. It represents so perfectly each segment of the sacred rite of passage; pregnancy and the preparations leading up to labor, giving birth at the center of this journey, and the return back into our old world, as a new parent.
During this special, interactive birth preparation class, you’ll create your own labor labyrinth and use birth art as a tool for self-exploration and discovery. We will also incorporate breath work, mediation, affirmations and aromatherapy into our labyrinths, so you can integrate these empowering tools into your daily preparations, and utilize these potent techniques for support during labor/birth and in the days beyond.
These techniques are all based in intuition and facilitate connection to our deepest truth and inner knowing.
Birth Classes & Packages
Kyla is trained in Birthing From Within as a Child Birth Educator. She also brings her personal years of experience and knowledge from working in Midwifery as a Midwifery Assistant, and serving families throughout their birth journey’s, into her birth & postpartum offerings
Classes & packages are all customizable. Classes are designed to meet individuals and couples where they are, to accommodate the needs for each unique journey. We can customize classes to suit your desires or you can choose from preset, curated classes as a single event or ongoing series.
